Default DATALOGGING

i was just wondering if it was possible to datalog with a pr3 ecu. if it is can you guys lead me in the right directions. thanks in advance.

Yes it is, chip it and solder in a dku5 cable.

Head over to pgmfi.org, everything you need is there.

Or you could buy my chipped pw0 and I'll throw datalogging on there,

not a problem i just got my ecu chipping package #1 and i love it the wideband is a must have in any modded car

You will need a chip the ECU in order to datalog.

You can't datalog off the stock EPROM.

i know. but i was just courious to how the process goes, ive been interested in this datalogging thing for awhile and i cant find much info on obd0 ecu's

There is tons of info out there.

You just have to know where to look....and most of the places have been mentioned in this thread.

Dig around and look at all the sites that have info about it....a few sites are missing some info that the other sites have and visa versa.

i did mine on a obd0 pr3 ecu if you have a pr3 or pwo ecu check out the BRE forum at pgmfi.org and if you use a pm6 or other obd0 ecu check out turboedit or obd0edit in witch they all have there own forum on pgmfi.org.. anything you could want to know about chipping or dattalogging a honda ecu is on that site

by any chance do you have pics of the inside of you ecu. that way i can get a look at how its suppose to look like. thanks man.

No, you just chop of the end, BRE will do the work.

ok i downloaded the BRE program and when i try to open it, it asks me which program do i want to open it with. what do i do?

First you have to unzip it..And you also have to download .NET FRAMEWORK V1.1
