Q: Brake lines used with Legend/NSX calipors?
I finally got around to installing the Legend calipors! The problem is that now the brake line end points directly into the axle. I've done a temporary fix to move it out of the way, but I don't really want to take it on track like this. When the tires are in full turn (second pic) there is very little clearance room between the hose and the axle. It just looks like a accendent waiting to happen. What type of brake lines should be used to clear the line away from the axle?

You sure? The pistons on the inside now would be on the inside again on the other side, cause he'd flip it over. Or do you mean top and bottom?
By the way Don, how's pedal feel with those?

Legend calipers are mounted behind the axle, rather than in front of the axle like Integras. To use Legend calipers on an Integra, they must be swapped left to right or the bleeders would be upside down.
This puts the larger piston in the caliper on the trailing edge of the rotor, whereas on a Legend it is on the leading edge.

Top to bottom... the pistons have a different bore dia.

yea but like stated above for the line and bleeder to get right you have to run them backwards because the legends have the caliper on the rear of the rotor not the front
either way will be ok you just wont be able to bleed them correctly that way....... if you dont want to run them backwards just take the line out of the guides and rotate it to where you want it and tighten it up it will still work fine it will just be outside the guides

Don, is there any way to bend that long metal shaft coming off the fitting? It looks like that's there more to direct the line than anything else.

So I just want to make sure my current setup is the best tht it can be.

Thus the reason for this post! Is there a specific set of brake line that have and arched fitting that would help with my clearance issues?
You might be able to contact whoever makes the lines for Wilwood. I know they use arched tubes, but the fitting for the Ultralite calipers are different. They may have something available that'd work, or might be able to fab something up.
