does anyone have a sh lude that is lowered, and is the atts ok.
people have told me that if i lower my sh, i will have to riase it back up and fix the atts. This is defanently causing concern so if you have a lowered sh please tell me whats up and if you don't have an sh don't say anything.
i got a 99 sh and not to scare you but i bought the car already lowered about ....1.5 inches i'll say and when i bought it the atts was inactive/broken(atts light on). im not going to say that lowering the car broke it and i've never heard of that happening, but i still thought i'd pass on my own info.......good luck
I have a 99 SH and its lowered with Neuspeed springs about 1.5 inch. It came this way when i bought it and its been about 10k miles so far with no problems to mention at all. I have encountered a problem with my ATTS unit when one tire wasn't inflated proper but as soon as I took care of that ATTS resumed without any problems. Which ever spring you choose remember to replace your struts with a strut that will handle what your car will be lowered to. Some struts will only cover up to 1.5inch drop after that you are voiding the warrenty. Most spring manufactures tell you that you must replace your OEM struts if you are going to use this spring(i think if you use OEM struts with aftermarket springs you run the danger of the spring jumping off the perch) ((which would suck dockle)).. As for daily driving I dig it, it rides on rails and is fun to drive like it should be. I do bottom out going over speed bumps too fast.. but just slow down and no problems.. Preludes look a lot better lowered imo.. not extreme slammin ricer crap just a moderate 1.5 or so drop makes it look way better. What ever you do just do it right..

had a 97 typesh, put about 30k miles on lowering springs. no problems with the atts, whatsoever.
however, i did have problems with the CV boots cracking prematurely (every 15k miles). this was when it was lowered 2"+ inches. once i got some RS*R springs that only lowered 1.75" all the way around, it was fine.

Mines lowered 2" and nothing is wrong with the ATTS. But my CV boot is ripped, so you will have a few problems with that, like almost everyone with a lowered prelude.
