Default Got my 99 Civic SI CD player today

I bought this off ebay about two weeks ago, i emailed the seller for a tracking number becuase it had been so long, the seller replied with an email saying that im trying to rip him off because he knows i already recieved it(which i hadnt yet, i was just asking for a tracking number to find out whats up). Anyway, i went home for lunch and there it was, i hook it up and it needs a damn code. I called honda and gave em the serial number and they gave me the code. Everything looks sweet in my hatch with the amber now except the damn CD player is broken, the seller i bought from is rejecting my emails becuase he thinks im trying to rip him off and im out 96 bucks. Anyway, im hoping i can fix the CD part since ive gone through sooo much **** and theres no way im getting my cash back so heres what it does. I tried to put in a CD and it wouldnt suck it in(dead motor of some kind?) So, me being the dumbass i am i cram the CD in. Now it comes up Err 01. So, im gonna take it apart, but i want to know if anyone has come across this problem before so i know what to aim for. Thanks for the help.

just a question
why would you spend 100$ on a stock cd player?

well, i know that most people with EG's want it because of the amber color it comes in...i was thinking of getting the Si cd player as well so it would match the rest of the interior lighting...

Well, have you ever thought that there isnt anything wrong with the stock one? Like the stock 99 SI cd player, first off it says Honda on it, second its amber so it matches my JDM climate control, third noone is going to destroy my window or door to steal my stock stereo, F. A decent aftermarket cd player is more than 100 biggins by far. and 14. Anti-Rice(hard-cooore)[nuff said]

Can you get the code for my cd player? I reset the ECU and now I cant use it. The dealer wants $65 to get the code for me. The serial # is M98D358367. Thanks for your help!

True. I just bought a stock Si today cause my Panasonic got jacked. Looks cleaner anyway. $50 though. You should have just found someone with an Si locally that had there stock just sitting around.
