Default HELP!!! JDM SIR CIVIC CLUSTER!!!

I have a 1997 Honda Civic DX and I just recently bought a JDM SiR cluster. I was wondering if it was at all possible to remove my current odometer and replace the SiR one with it. If it is possible, would I have to worry about anything screwing up? Would it still work properly? Thanks.

Check here...

and theres also a thread on rolling odometers over, so convert your current mileage to km (multiplying by .62) and roll it over to that #

You could do that, but your speedometer will be off.

Rolling them over or switching it out? Which would cause my speedometer to be off?

switching. Rolling over is just converting your present mileage to KM thats all.

Are you swapping over the SiR Speedo/Odo into a DX cluster or DX Speedo/Odo into an SiR cluster? I thought you were swapping over just the DX Odo and using the SiR gauge face.

I'm putting in a SiR cluster in to my DX. I wanted to place the DX mileage in to the SiR cluster. Oh yeah, any idea what's the difference between mph and kmh? I wanna be able to know the speed I'm going.
