Fan running after car turned off?
I've got a 90 EXR and I have a very strange problem with the fan. When I turn the car off, the fan keeps running. And it doesn't stop. If you disconnect and reconnect the battery overnight, the fan still runs. Some of my friends thought it might be a fan relay.. but I'm not sure. What do you think it could be?
It will turn out to be either the Cooling Fan(s) Relay, or the Thermal Switch that controls it (mounted near thermostat housing)

first off make sure the rdiator is full.. if it is ok,, it could be the switch at the end of the top radiator hose ,,,,
The switch at the thermostat housing controls the fans ( both fans ) operations when car is running and at operating temp ( coolant is warm enough ),,,

Diagnose the problem, the thermal switch that is mounted in line with the upper radiator hose, find it and unplug the connector, if the fan shuts off you have found the trouble
Actually I believe that car is equipped with a cooling fan timer that likes to take a slow and random crap. If you have one it's mounted right under your glovebox. It's a black box that says coolig fan timer on it. If you can't find it right away you may need to take out the two 8mm bols holding your glovebox on, pull the box out and you'll see it right there. I'm pretty sure that was the first year Honda used that on Accords.
