Default sign of blown motor ?????

me and a friend just got done with putting a different blow off valve on the car... along with the *missing link*.... once that was done, i drove off to test it, up n down the street twice... i took it up to about 5,000 on my d15b turbo setup... once i got to the end, it started sputtering and shaking and vibrating and i had to gas it harder than normal in order for the rpms to jump up....i pulled over to the side and it just died out on me... we tried starting n starting n starting it but it wouldnt... if i engaged the ignition and gas it, it would start... but it sounded shitty as hell... all i can smell is burnt gas... does anyone know whawt could be wrong ???

i dont know if this would have anything to do with it, but theres 2 blow off valves attached on the piping....

this is kind of weird because before we welded on the blow off valve, we had the missing link on there.. and we drove up n down the street with no signs of anything bad... until we got to the house and slapped the BOV on, drove up n down the street and thats when i noticed problems...

2 BOV's dont mean ****. Rage does that as a signature on all there cars.

My guess would be the timing, how much boost was that? Any CEL?

does seem like it could be timing... i started the car while pumping the gas, and it felt like it was running on 2 cylinders... then after a few minutes of pumping the gas, the car went back into normal mode...

right now its running fine, i'm just scared of driving my car around the road knowing that may happen again

also, its pushin about 7/8 psi
