Default Skunk2 Throttle body high idle?

So i just finished installing the skunk2 throttle body in my gsr hatch and the idle is very high. It was at around 2000-2500 rpm but i got it down to 1700. Is this normal for the skunk2 throttle body? On the skunk2 tb there's no place for one of the vacume hose so could that be the problem if yes how would i go about fixing it? I've search on here and found a few threads with people having the same problem but it was never answered so if anyone is having the same problem and know what's wrong please help me out, thanks.

Have you adjusted the throttle plate stop? Or the air /idle screw?

Also check that the plate is closed all the way. They tend to have sticking problems.

my skunk2 TB gets stuck if i WOT it the nlet off. it will stay stuck in the closed position untill i slam on the gas pedal. i have mine idling at 750 to 800 rpms. i needed to remove the stop screw and nut from the TB (that would explain why its get n stuck in the closed postion) but i can deal with that but not the high ilde. also when drive n, the skunk2 TB will usually get stuck open just a little bit cause n the car to idle at around 1.5K-2K. if i snap quickly at the gas pedal nd let off, the car will go back to idling perfect at 750rpm.

SKUNK2 TB In my opinion sucks ***

im going to take the throttle body apart this weekend and see what's causing the butterfly to get stuck everytime i step on the gas then let off, if i cant find out what's causing this im just gonna put the stock tb back on. It sucks cuz the skunk2 tb improve air flow so much that i can actually feel the different between this and the stock tb.

I had my rpm tb get stuck when I first purchased it as well. Went to Kragen and they sell this small tube of oil, I think it was less than $4 and I squirted some on the tb spring while car off and opening and closing the tb continously. This seemed to fix the problem for me

hope this makes sense to you

I don't remember exactly, but it was in a small white squirt bottle with a skinny tip. I am wanting to say it said Mobil1, but I am not sure. Believe it was about 3-4in. tall. It was just regular oil. I squirted some on the return spring on the tb while openning and closing it and it did fix this sticky problem. go to your local autoparts store, I am sure you will find something to what i tried to just describe
