I installed some Infinity Reference 6.5 in the front of my civic and I also purchased some Infinity Reference 5.25's for the rear. The DX doesnt have any rear speakers stock but it does have the wiring at least.

My question is what would be the easiest way to install these? I figured out how to lift up the rear cardboard piece in the back that has the plastic clips. I also noticed a groove in the cardboard in the shape of a circle. Should I just try to poke that circular cardboard pieve out?

The 5.25's didnt come with any speaker covers.... So do I need to somehow peel the fabric and put it back when I install the speakers?

 

If you have a hatch i would go with this.

That is how most guys over here in Japan do it, if they do not have the Gathers speaker covers.
