Well, I finally purchased a Civic hatch to start my JDM conversion. Just thought I'd toss it out here and get ideas and opinions.

Car:



The car will be a mix of Black and Carbon Fiber. I plan on ordering a JDM conversion kit for it in the spring. I plan on having the project done in the next 4 years, depending on deployments and funds. For now I'm just going to use it as a daily driver and do minor **** to it as I go. Also, come spring I will most likely be tossing in a B18C and supercharging it. I just want something different that you dont see everyday.

Ideas and suggestions welcome.

 

I really hate ek hatches. No offence.

 

My inspiration for the project...aside from the K-20, no way I can afford that:

 

not feeling the wing on the "inspiration" picture... Whats with the "vtec" sticker on the back of the damn DX hatch?

Haha, yeah, the wing isn't my favorite. as for the vtec sticker...I have no idea, the tard who owned it before me put it on. I'm taking all the badges off and replacing with red Honda badges.

Where can I find that. I was looking at Password:JDM's kits.

 

I forgot who makes that kit for those wings.

Anyways, boy you just bought an EJ hatch, I have no idea what the expletive you're talking about with a 'conversion kit'

What would it entail? Tail lights, Black housing headlights, 2 lips?

or maybe even

Tail lights, headlights, both bumpers, both lips, 2 OEM JDM red recaros, red back seats, red carpet, black dashboard, EK9 momo steering wheel, a CTR wing, uber JDM bronze windows?

im just gonna stop there....I'll be the first one to tell you, no matter what you do to this car, there will be nothing "different" about it, unless you put rediculous amounts of money into it. Nothing original about a black and carbon fiber combo.

I can show you black EK's with 20,000+ invested in them, and might I add 20,000 that they'll never see again.

Anyways, you wanna see conversion?
I hope you have an inkling on how much this **** costs.
