i was wondering wat do you guys rev your k20's and k24's to? 9k ,or like 7500 or so like in h series?

stock CRV k24a1 or Accord k24a4 about 7000rpm
stock TSX k24a2 7500 rpm
stock 02-04 RSX-S k20a2 8200 rpm (includes '05+ rsx-s k20z1 & '06+ si k20z3)
stock k20a type r 8400 rpm

I am going to add eibach valve springs & IPS k2 cams to my type r k20a & I should be good to 8900 rpm

the 2.4L blocks (stock) cannot withstand the piston speeds above 7500 rpm for extended periods

 

so k24 is like a h series they suck at high rpm.. or should be taken there i got the k20a2 and wasn't sure wat they rev to .. later i might switch to a k24 bottom end
