having tranny problems on a gsr need to know where i could rebuild a tranny at in nj and roughly how
Tranny is grinding on 3rd 4th 5th and sometimes stays stuck in reverse any replies would be appreciated. Also am i better off getting a used tranny instead of a rebuild of mine?

well it depends on what ya want to do. a used tranny will run ya about 500 bucks i rebuilt mine new bearings syncros seals and lsd for 1100 so if u can DIY and buy the right parts u can do it right for another 600 bucks.

lsd - limited slip differential....power to goes to both wheels at all times
try gettin gm syncromesh friction modified tranny fluid...it helped my tranny alot when it was grinding
