Removing the front license plate holder leaves a hole in the bumper
A week after buying my new Civic I had a little fender bender. I had to get the front bumper replaced and the body shape screwed a license plate holder onto it. The work was done in Ohio, which requires a front plate, but I have it registered in Michigan, which does not. The shop did not realize I was from MI because I had temp plates from OH.
So now I'm stuck with an empty license plate holder. I don't really mind since I will probably be moving again in a year or so to a state that does require a front plate.
But until then, what can I do? If I remove it I'll have a hole in the bumper where it's screwed in. Is there any way to disguise it, or should I just get a slick looking chrome plate with the word HONDA on it?

honda sells plugs that fit in those holes.
go to the dealer and see if they have it for your make and model.
good luck .

Hi, thanks for the reply.
My dealer didn't have a plug. I checked a couple auto parts store but they had nothing either.
Where can I get a nice looking plate? All I find online are either plastic or all chrome, which I don't think would look good (too reflective).
