im gettin ready to get started on my 89 civic project and thought i'd make a progress thread.. there's want i got so far.. i got the motor in peices taken all part and so i just threw it all in my shed where it sat for a month or two .. i looked at it today and it started to rust a ali so i decided to give it some loving.. i painted the block and put it together so it wouldn't take up that much room in my basement. .. the pistons i sold to sb tuning for his new project and the crank is ready to go to the machine shop for a knife edge and balence just as soon as i get paid

my k20a2 that i traded for a blown lsvtec longblock, it has a few ups and down but so does evrything (dont mind the big hole in the manifold)





and it's goin into this. i'll get more pics up with time and when i get it to the shop

 

other things planned for it are somemore motor work, engine bay shave, wire tuck, moldings shaved, rollcage or harness bar, painted midori green or galaxy gray metalic (not sure yet) and cutsom 5lug with s2k wheels or white itr's, all new suspesion bushing, and alot more

 

k20 into a crx is played out more then a b16 into a rex. Do something original, Ryan already ripped his out cause he got bored of it .

 

well it's not a crx and yes i know it's played out already..

well im selling the k24 block and crank if anybody wants it.. i decided to go with a k24 geuss you cant beat displacement and that 99mm stroke
