Hey guys,

ive seen many threads about how people fill their trannys from the VSS...i was wondering do EFs have VSS, if so were is it located, if not then whats the easiest place to fill it at?

Hmmm..

Didn't know that. I'll have to use the plug on the top of the tranny next time. I used to fill my hydro tranny from the VSS but with my cable I have been filling from the proper fill hole, which is a pain in the *** because of it's location and verticle position.

 

how much tranny fluid do you put in??

with the car on a level surface, add fluid until it runs out of the fill hole.

 

You can buy a $4.00 hand pump at Autozone that screws on top of the tranny fuid bottle and has a hose that you put in the filler hole. Fill it until the fluid is level ith the bottom of the hole and you got it...

2litres.

 

I used to use the breather hole on top of the tranny. Is suppose to have a little black covering over it. Its have the diameter of a pen, though so its takes a while.
