i have a 25 civic dx i have the complete disc conversion my question is as follows the rear brakes are abs but my car has no abs the proportioning valve is non abs and i was wondering if that it is going to be a problem and if not which brake lines do i need non-abs or abs.

not going to be a problem. my del sol is non-abs and i pulled the trailing arms/disc off an Ls-integra w/ abs. i'm stilling running them with the non-abs prop vavle/master cyclinder.

as for brake lines, it's the emergency brake cables that is what you're needing. doesn't matter if it's abs or non abs... just disc or drums. somebody correct me if i am wrong. as for compatible cables, i have no idea which ones to get.

99-00 civic si 94+up teg. for cables and no correction neccessary.

 

WTF is a "25 civic dx"?

Seriously, what Year, Make, Model, Doors, Trim, Tran, Options (YMMDTTO) for the project and donor vehicles? I guess it's safe to assume you've got a 92-00 Civic, and have the rear TA from a 94-01 Integra (non Type-R)...

If you want to buy and swap a new PV, it makes the most sense to buy one that most closely matches your original car. If you have an EG, get a 93-95 SI PV. If you have an EK, get a 99-00 SI PV. But, read the thread above and see if you feel like you "need" one...

*IF* you want to swap your PV, get one for the 95 SI (46210-SR3-962).

It might be more effective to upgrade other parts, like your Brake Booster (Power Assembly) or Brake Master Cylinder. Just beware that there could be fitment issues when using the Integra BB/BMC on a Civic...

The rear Brake Hoses need to be changed. Hose end fittings are different for Calipers than for Drums. Again, try to match up with your project car's chassis family while choosing which ones.
(edit: Get the ones for the 95 SI: 01468-SR3-902 (Rear Left), 01466-SR3-903 (Rear Right))


The Parking Brake Cables need to be changed. Again, different end fittings for disc brakes, and they also require a Retaining Clip, Clevis Pin, and Cotter Pin to secure it. Tell us what car these are for and we can help you further.
(edit: Get the ones for the 95 SI, but snag any others you can and try them in case (as long as they're for disc brakes)!!)

i think you do need the integra or si brake lines, isnt the disc a banjo nut opposed to the other kind *forgot the name*

all the same. i didn't change anything unless i forgot. everything can be used except the e-brake cables.

 

90-01 intgera conversions actually work
just different bushings in the DAs

 

thanks guys i thought so i allready have the si cables my biggest concern was just the lines but if 95 si lines will work with or with out abs that is cool

 

ABS won't be an issue for your Rear Brake Hoses. The ABS system gets to the rear hydraulics at an earlier point.

 

I'm not sure I if I have this confused so I'm going to ask this again, I have SS lines for the rear drums on my 92 EG VX, I plan on doing a rear disc swap from an Integra LS, will I need to change out the rear hoses, or just get the parts listed above and use those?
