Default **Done: my mini me (updated)**

finished the mini me! vtec! it mooooooooooves
so, the verdict is, not as good as my b16 or lsvtec, but its very impressive for a single cam

d16y5 block
d16y8 head
ctr throttle body bored out
d16y8 intake mani match port
IM drilled, tapped and chambered for PCT throttle body+idle air controller
B16A + spoon chip ecu
270 injectors


steam cleaned it today and cleaned up the wiring


and for dr latino...

all it needs now is some integra
(zc) pistons, a cam, and a slick *** header.

didnt feel like taking the block apart... got all this stuff for free haha. i took the tb, iac off my b16a drag motor, just trying to see what i can squeeze out of this little thing with bolt ons. i hear that these things rival stock b16a because they are so light...just wanna see what all the fuss is about

yeah i'm doing the same thing too. i just want some zc piston to bump up my compression on my z6 head which is milled , port and polished , 3 angle valve job. also this is just my all motor set up for now

and i am curious about valve covers...since my z6 head didnt come with a vlave cover could i use the one from a y7 dx head valve cover?

i dont think it is a mini me, cuz if im not mistaken the d16y5 is also vtec but its vtec -e, i dont know if that counts for anything , please get back to me

oh no i already have a y7 dx valve cover that said HONDA on top of it and was wondering if it would fit on my z6 head ....i should go ahead and see if it fit or not lol

Why are you using a B16 ECU and bigger injectors? I think your factory EMS may get a little pissy on you.

whats an ems? im using a b16 comp because im too lazy to convert my ef to obd1, and my drag motor (b16 nitrous) is obd0 so i just used all those parts

ahh sorry, i dont know **** about these little motors, im used to bigger things

whats wrong with the flywheel? nothing a little scotchbrite wont fix, plus, i got like 5 more of these things

i wanted to do that at first but i am going to build just my y7....sounds dumb but last summer i pulled a 15.6@89.3 with a header and simple weight reduction.
