White smoke after car sitting for 2 weeks...
My car was down for 2 weeks and Im sure I flooded it with fuel trying to start it at first.I finally got my distributor on today, started right up.I look at the exhaust and it blowing out some thick white smoke. Is this normal for a car that has sat this long?
Thanks
Thanks
To be without your car..to me it is.
The smoke started to die down a bit but then it started spittin out water with the A/C off.
I had forgotten to reconnect the valve cover breather hose to the intake arm, it quit smoking when I reconnected it.Would that do that?

This is kinda typical after cars have been sitting without being started/driven. Same thing happened to me and what the problem was as found out was that I was running really rich. The fuel had gotten a little to much air in the system causing an air bubble. But since you have a new distributor, I think you are in good shape. If you continue to see the white smoke and it gets excessive, have it(your fuel system) checked out.
