Default JDM itr CF window switches in USDM

i've had these jdm itr cf window switches, both left and right (passenger and driver),and decided to put them in. the passenger's side swapped over perfect. the driver's side on the other hand didn't because of the whole rhd thing. i didn't realize this would be a problem / difference til i tried putting it in. the switches mounting points are going in opposite directions. i know' i've seen people these put into USDM integras. the question is what is needed to put this in? should i use the jdm switches, but if i do will it clear the panel...( kinda worried about clearance issues now ) or jus fab' up the usdm one....

I think you may be confused withe US carbon fiber pieces. I honestly don't think I have ever seen anyone successfully put the RHD JDM pieces into a US model.

It can be done, there is dremel work involved. But I don't have any other details. Sorry.

thats what i kinda figured. either some fab work or (not sure) if the jdm switches would work ok...

Looks like those are the JDMers. Obviously with those switches, the pass. window get the auto down instead.

you are right about the jdm window switches, but the passenger does not get the auto up and down, it just doesn't work period. why it doesn't work is because it still works like the US one but the driver side don't have the option for it, and the why the passenger don't have auto is because it doesn't have the relay box that the driver side has (the brown thing).

I suppose you are right. I took mine off some time ago b/c I preferred having auto/down to show my badge for work.

There was someone that modified it to where the USDM switches could work, but I can't remember and I have never gotten around to it.

I got my auto up & down to work on the driver side also. I just carefully swap out some wires on the harness of the switch.

I have them in my usdm itr, but the top right switch is my driver side and top left switch is passenger, kind of annoying but whatever, passenger works perfect.
