Default ’92 CX tranny on a D16A6

I have a ’90 Civic Si and the tranny is gone, wont go into reverse and hard to get into 1st. I have the 5 speed tranny from a ’92 Civic CX and was wondering if it would fit on the Si engine and can I use the stock axles?

I know I should use the Si or at least the DX tranny but since I have the CX tranny I was wondering if it would work. I will probably switch back to a Si or DX tranny at a later date but for right now I am just trying to get the car moving.

Don't think so without custom mounts for the hydraulic tranny, :-(, just pick up one cheap. I got a free hf tranny.

Hmmm that suck, I'll just look around for a cheap replacement tranny.
