My front bumper got hit by a truck and i got it replaced and repainted a few months ago. Now the front bumper doesn't match up with the fenders!! I had the bumper replaced and installed at a certified body shop. I tried using a orbital buffer on the fenders but the color of the front bumper is still a lot brighter. Is there any way to fix this without having to get the whole car repainted? I'm scared to use a more aggressive cutting pad, cuz i'm not sure how much clear coat is left on the fenders. It's disgusting to look at everytime. Someone help!! Btw, the color of my car is Milano Red (R-81), which i know is hard to color match. Any input please?
your car's paint is probably dulled then am i correct? If you hae relatively new paint and the bumper doesnt match you have a problem. Otherwise wait a little bit and the bumper might dull out also. my friend crashed his car and needed a new bumper/fender/hood and he got new ones and got em painted the shop said wait a little bit and the color will dull to match the car (though they did reapaint it like 3 times) but now its looks just as before (the car is a '98, so the orig paint is 7 years old!)
All colors are hard to match, depending on what color that body part used to be, depends on how well it will match. I know for red, you have to take extra steps before and after primering. So if the body shop didn't do that, that's why it doesn't match.

Well my car got keyed about a year ago, so the right fender towards the rear is relatively new paint. I asked the body shop about it they said just wait for it to dull, so do you guys recommend i not try using a cutting pad to the fenders?? THanks for the input guys

Milano red is infamous for fading..not really a way to fix except a whole repaint
Or take it to a good body shop and they might be able to match the faded paint.

It's too bad you already spent the insurance money, I would have put that towards a MR repaint.
