hytech production headers

Default hytech production headers

have anyone personally tried hytech headers (production type) on their ITR? i heard i will not clear the transmission brace/flywheel cover, is this true? im planning to get one i need some info. thanks!

If fitment is the same as the old 1.8 Hytech header then yes you will need to remove some material from the brace but it is in no way necessary to remove it altogether.

if i remove i believe would be some bolts. will this affect my engine?

You mean remove bolts from the Flywheel brace? Shouldn't be necessary, the bolts still clear with the my Hytech, albeit it's not the production one. Just had to remove some material from the flywheel brace like Pondus said above.

Took me 30 mins with an angle grinder and a flap disc to get the brace to fit.

I heard the GSR tranny/flywheel brace is thinner than the ones on the ITR.

I know that the $1300 Anti - Reversion Hytech header was rubbing against the tranny/flywheel brace. I can't say the same about the Production header until mine comes in next week.
