Those with DC5R Brembo brakes
For those with the JDM DC5R Brembo setup with the complete hub system, what wheel and tire size are you running? If you could please state what you drive, wheel size and width, offset and tire size you are running. If you do have camber correction please state it. Also if you are rubbing the fenders. I do realize that the RSX has a bit more room to play with, but I'm curious to see what you have to compare. With this setup, size and offset is real tough!
I'm doing this to see how much room people have especially with the EP3 chassis. For example, this is what I have:
EP3
17x7
+60
225-45ZR17 AZENIS RT615
F (-1.6) want more negative, still rub on hard cornering
R (-2.1, -2.6) Still rub a bit on hard cornering (Mugen SS)
Thanks,
Victor

i have an 05 RSX Type-S. I'm on stock 05 rims. I'm running Zeal Function V6's, I only rub on extremely hard cornering, but other than that none at all. The Zeals have a camber adjusting pillow mount, so I'm thinking if I give a little more neg camber it'll stop the rubbing.

2001 Honda Civic EX - TODA Fightex's have camber plates, and I will usually adjust a little bit to see how it effects the car/times.

On the street, I rarely ever rub. With the track, I have rubbed once, that I was able to actually hear.

Which 17x8's are you running? MF10's? Would you happen to have any shots of the wheels on the car to show how far they come off the fender?
Thanks,
Victor

Correct.
I'm sorry, but pictures are very limited as the car is put away for the winter. Wheels are stacked in the corner for now.

Offset 45.
Camber -2 all around
As soon as I got this brake assembly, I immediately began to rub in rears. I quickly had my fenders rolled. Since then, all has been fine.

I have a 4-DR 7th Gen Civic (ES?) with the DC5 Brembo Set up for the front and Nissin for the rear...I believe this is the stock set up of a DC5-R. I also have stock shocks and Springs of the DC5-R.
Front and Rear
17x7 DC5-R Rims
Yokohama Neova 215/45/17
Not sure what the offset is...if anyone has the stock offset of the DC5-R rims, it would be helpful too.
Anyway, I went on the track 3 times with this setup and no rubbing at all. But it does look like the rear will run when I lower it or change to coilovers.

DC5R wheels are +60 offset. You're not low enough to rub now, but if you do Mugen SS, you will. I recommend something adjustable in the future if you're looking for a stiffer spring rate.
