Do it. Maybe you could get it a little cheaper too.

For $3000 it would be worth it. Other than that, the time it would take you to take everything off and sell, waste of your time. Research what those parts go for (that you can still sell) and do a cost-benefit analysis and figure out if it's worth doing.

You could potentially make a little money but if you factor in the time you're going to spend doing the work (removing the parts, trying to sell the parts, ebay auction and advertisement fees) and dealing with all of the jack-***, flakey people that love to waste your time then it may be more like a break even deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the type s motor, tranny, ecu and other "change-over" parts go for around $4000? http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30028. So if you sell the wheels, seats, airbags (unless they popped), radio, suspension and brakes I don't see any reason why you shouldn't make a couple bucks.

Depends on the color combo of the car as well. A black interior is worth a little more because tan isn't as desirable unless someone needs a replacement tan interior.

If I wanted to chop the guy and try to get the car for less I'd show him you were serious by bringing him some green and I'm not talkin' reefer. Cash talks, bullshit walks. You may even get it a few hundred bucks cheaper. I bet they old guy already got an insurance check for the car and he's just trying to make a couple extra bucks and get the car out of his garage.

Wow, I'm bored
