LS/V with street tune and RM top end...is it ok to drop in S2S1's? Obviously it would have a bit to do with the tune, HOWEVER, it's tuned conservatively. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for the response, I keep hearing that there will be bogging issues under 5900 so I'm a bit concerned...And those are some DAMN NICE MR5's you have for sale sir.

Hahaha, thanks man. You won't be boggin with those cams, the stage 1's are fairly similar to a type r but with a larger vtec lobe. You'll like em for a mild cam

I'd take those MR5's from you if it weren't frigin Christmas, this **** always happens to me lol. Good luck with them...
Yeah, this is the end of my engine mods with tuning so these from what I understand are hot in a street setup with a little compression and apparently will stomp the **** out of my b16 cams...so I look forward to it....thanks again for the info

dude the skunk stage 1's will be sweet but if your gonna tune anyways drop the stage 2's in they'll f u up bro....the stage two's will run on the street and the ocassional trip to track they'll light up quick. if your gonna drop 400 on the stage ones mid as well go stage twos with new dual vavlesprings and tune it...it will give you and easy 8-10 over the stage ones

they're bought and paid for, but thanks for the info. this is about all I wanted to do motor wise anyway.
the feeling still good on just dropping them in without a need in changing vtec crossover point?

Drop them in bro, and there might be a little vtec engagement bog, but should be too bad if there is even one. i dropped them in my stock B16 years ago and they were fine, i never tuned it either DOH!
PM me when you need to get tuned
