pullin the motor from a 89 integra ?
To pull the motor from a 89 integra can you pull the motor out from the top? i was told it can only be done from the bottom... is this true? need answer asap please.
The engine can be pulled from the top or bottom. Depending on what were is being done, and the set up for working is the answer of which is easier.
I would think most DIYers pull it from the top. Here are some quick tips, not everything that should be done, not shown in any order...
Unplug wiring from clips on pass side shock tower, and drivers side relay box
Disconnect fuel and any vacuum lines, speedo cable
Pull axles out away from engine/trans s-or remove completely
Remove shiftlinkage from trans side
Remove rad
Unbolt engine and remove
