Default Stupid headlight question?....Please help!

I guess I'm somewhat retarted here, but I can't figure out how to change the bulb in my 92 Accord.

I disconnected the plug from the bad buld. Then I tried to turn the surrounding piece left (counter clockwise) but it wouldn't move at all.

I'm I missing something? This is the same bulb style as a CRX, 9005/9006, which I've changed just fine before.

Thanx for any help. TIA.

I was figuring that. I've never changed the bulb before. I'll probably remove the battery later and try again. That way I can get a better grip.

Thanx.

You're doing the right thing...it will eventually give in.

In additon, there should be three screws on the back of the headlight holding the bulb in place. Try to unscrew them or loosen them.

do not unscrew anything,,,,,,,,get a screwdriver and tap on the black piece that holds the bulb in ,, it will turn ,, try spraying some wd-40 first ...

I"m not saying that you should unscrew them completely. Though that wouldn;t be a big deal...you can always screw it back in. [innit?]
