Removing an EG bumper: Tricks for the removing the side screws?
I'm trying to remove my bumper on my EG but Im stuck. I need to remove the screws on the sides where the fender meets the bumper, but I am too scared to break the mechanism holding it in.
Are there any easy ways to do this? Doesn't look like a normal screw from what I see....

just unscrew it with a phillips head screw driver. Its only plastic holding it in and its actually pretty strong. Ive removed my bumper like 20 times without a problem. If you happen to do break it, its a very cheap part.
Just go for it.

i haven't had to remove it recently but from what i remember it's pretty straight forward...
remove the rail on top of the bumper, remove the shield from the bottom + bumper screws, remove side screws and i think that's it... you just have to go in with a screw driver at the fender sides and if i remember correctly you have to pull the wheel well shield a little to get to the screw... it's been a few months since i did this so i can't remember the exact procedure

That's not smart at all. You could have replaced those top ones with regular bolts.

If you look carefully you'll noticed that the bumper has a notch that's perfect for putting a screwdriver through to unscrew the screw.

Haha mine too. Comes in handy in the winter though, if i get snow caught up under the bumper, the zip ties break and i can move lol.
