Default pass Emissions ?

whats the easiest way 2 pass inspections ??? i've passed every thing but the Carbon Monoxide(CO) .. the Standard is 1.20% & i got a 2.58%
i had just did a full tune up .. oil.plugs,air & oil filters, o2 sensore . it has a hf cat on it ... What are some things 2 do 2 help it pass .. or ways 2 cheat it ??

88 Crx Hf .. with D16y8 ,, with a Cx intakemani & TB . a HF Header With cat .. ,Si ecu & tranny , Stock intake ...


do u think if i put in the Hf ecu in ,, it would help?

new cat; proper IM, y8 ecu and you should be fine assuming wiring is correct.

Im in the same situation..but have a b16 with ITB's and stand alone fuel management..im not sure what im going to do..but definately look at ur cat..might want to replace it.. "Heat"(alcohol) is a pretty good additive too....just dont over do it a bottle or two

How old is your HF cat? If its stock, you need to replace it.

high CO% is more fuel then air ratio, right?

check your air filter if its clogged. also try to remove the intake resonator to make air flow a bit better.

yea .. mostliky im looking at replacing the Cat ..witch really sucks sense i dont really have the money 4 it right now .. & it being so close 2 xmas ..
