i have the chance to pick up some mint ef si seats for onefiddy. how do you guys think theyd look in a black interior eg... and will the rails fit? or can i just throw some eg rails on em? and aslo does anyone know if the rears fit as well? if anyones got pics of these seats in a black interior thatd be great!

sheesh, for $150 I would get them and try them out. If you can't make them fit just put them on Ebay

 

word up! i decided im def getting the fronts.... but i really would like the matching set but idk if theyd fit in an eg... everyone said gsr's would but the tops didnt fit and there was huge gaps and i would have to redrill the hole for the bottoms

 

i had some mint ones that i wanted in my ek..
i couldnt find anything about putting them in any other car..

No and no. You will have to fab up something custom.

 

you dont know first hand what doesnt fit do you? cuz if its gonna be a major bitch i proly wont bother...

dude check how similar the ef seat pans and the eg seat pans are? If they are almost identical, then it can be done.

the seat pans will swap and you will use your old rails. most of the honda seat pans are the same from 88-00.

yea im seein if the kid im getting the rails from has the pans as well....

 

The only problem you'll run into is the fitment, I would just swap the rails/pan from your existing seats.

Keep in mind that EF CRX Si seat are completely different from EF Civic Si seats. The original poster has not clarified which seats he is asking about.

 

so putting in crx si seats can be done much easier the civic si seats? i have some i have wanted to do myself from my old crx

 

well thing is im not really sure....what are the differences? how can you tell them apart. these seats have black fabric on the bolsters that is similar to the us spec type r fabric, and the middle is a dark greyish/ tanish tint to it.... no red in them at all.

edit: what is the difference between them mounting wise? wouldnt i have to switch pans and rails either way?
