2nd gear slips, what tha HECK?

So titlle xplains, I drive tha beater, and I'm on 2nd, and it slips out if I don't hold it in, what could be the reason for this???

Time for a new transmission, worn out release fork is my guess. How many miles on the tranny?

I don't know how many miles it has, on the vin number it says sl3 and then a lot of numbers. I just bought the car about 1 week ago. Realy think the tranny could be going out?

my old tranny does that for 2nd 3rd and 4th ahah.

i jut put in a new tranny. or drive with it.

just make sure you hold the shifter in gear while engaging the clutch.
