92 Teg idling at 1200 rpms.....no code...vacuum leak?
Like title says.....I have a b16 in the car...it's obd1 so all the vacuum lines and **** are on the manifold....just trying to figured out what the deal is....it should be idling at 600 i thought...any ideas would be great....hit me!!
it's hard to tell which it is because it's so random and inconsistant...someone mentioned the eacv valve going bad....he claimed that sometimes it doesn't throw a code....where can I get a good diagram of how to run these vacuum lines? the chiltons manual I have kinda sucks
check vacuum hoses, clean the iacv, screw the little plastic screw in on the fitv, then check your idle screw. If the doesnt fix it, pull the throttle body, and replace the gasket. If that doesn't work, pull the manifold, and replace that gasket. If that doesn't work, check the pcv valve.
I had the same problem with my b16 powered DA, and it was the throttle body gasket.

fast idle thermo valve....its under the throttle body
you have to remove the tb to get it off easy, and it would be a good time to replace the TB gasket

Sorry, all those suggestions are off the top of my head, and are not in order. But yes, check the pcv valve before spending money on gaskets

i checked for holes or rips....no sign....I'm pretty sure they'v been run correctly....but not positive....maybe if someone could post a pic of they're engine bay, i could confirm if it's right or not....
