Default cusco rollcage

Hi guys, i'm looking for a cusco rollcage to be bolted into my dc2, does exist a 4 point type? if not, have you got some pics of a 6 point rollcage fixed?
Where i can find it? have you got any online store for that?

If you want JDM looks buy it. If you want something that will hold up and serve it's purpose build a custom or get an Autopower

What qualities do you guys look for in a "good" rollcage?

Inquiring minds want to know and so does our friend from Italia .....

the least amount of "bends" possible would be a good start...

I think that's the biggest noticeable problem with the Cusco bling. It seems to have all kinds of extra bends for style or something.

HT user: MooFX has the cusco cage plus the carbon fiber door bars, harness bar and rear bar. You'll find some pics on here if you search.

Like others have said, it's more for show.

in response to the op question, there is not authorized distributor in italy, so take your pick of other ones in europe.

cyprus- http://www.galatariotis.com/
greece- http://www.cusco.gr/
finland- http://driftstyle.fi/
france- http://www.mrs-passion.com/
uk- http://www.coordsport.com/

i'd say carbing....but thats just cause i'm a label *****

to ammend your statement "Like others have said, it's entirely for show. "

I would honestly feel alot safer in a rollover situation with no rollbar at all than with one of those death traps in my car.

Originally made to keep kids occupied while he or she keeps there eye on the road. The C-pillar bar was just an option to build a bigger monkey bar fort for the kids.

Not trying to start a war, but have there been tests proving that the cage will not hold up in a crash or roll? I havent seen any just alot of people seeing bends and calling it a POS.

I remember seeing a thread Reid had, about Japanese track days. You don't even need a cage as long as you have harnesses and a helmet. Kinda scary. I doubt that cage would support anything.

I wouldn't put a Cusco cage in my car even if you paid me.

Kirk, Autopower, Safedrive, Mitch Piper, etc and custom made cages are the way to go if you want safety.

Something about a cage that says its "designed for street use" bothers me. If it cant protect in a rollover then really it just adds weight and no benefit to the car.

I would trust my autopower over it anyday. And I'm gonna go custom when the time is right.

I have to laugh everytime I see the cusco cage in someones car. Especially when they have a 6-point and no padding and use it on the street.

Rofl when your head hits that thing with no helmet I wonder whats gonna bend first the bar or your head.

For the original poster:

Reading my previous posts I realize I was not that helpful. The Cusco cage has a big "S" bend in the A piller bar, so it can clear the dash. This bend makes that portion of the cage extreemly dangerous, as in a roll over condition the bar could collaps and cause serious bodily injury. Also, the cage is blue, which could cause you to catch teh ghey.

Since you live in Italy, I would seriously suggest you check out OMP products. I have an OMP 4 point bolt in cage and fitment was excellent and it's FIA approved. Also, it is affordable. And it doesn't come painted blue.

Carbon fiber door bars????? Holy WTF????? Ummm, I've seen what CF does under sheer. It shatters into lots of nice sharp pointy bits. I hope the MooMan never has to find that out the hard way.

lol, how much do one these cages cost? I should buy one and purposely roll a car (without me in it) and see how it holds up.
