Default 205/45/16 in winter months???

I have some all seasons in the above size, will these be hazardous in the winter months? Any input would be appreciated. Thx

I think that depends more on the tire and it's condition then the size/profile of the tire itself.

They will be as usable as a stock sized all-season tire. The size won't make that big a difference; the type of tire will. If you're on snow or ice, especially deep snow or when it's really cold outside, they won't be as good as a winter tire.

Nothing beat a good set of dedicated winter snow tires. Never trust All season if you live in snowey country side.

If you get snow on the ground, get some good snow tires. (Blizzak's and Nokian Hakka's, as an example.) They're awesome in the snow.
