converting type r to obd1 with a magnetic key?

Default converting type r with a magnetic key to obd1?

if you have a magnetic key, can you still convert a 01 type r to obd1. if you can how do u bypass the magnetic key or does the obd1 comp not look for it? please reply if you know anything about this topic or if you knwo anyone that can help me.

I don' t think you can use withou the key but here is a post where someone talks about removing the immobilizer feature off the ECU

.....You mean the immobilizer chip in the '00-'01 teg's?

If you convert to obd1, then you lose that feature.

i mean do the 01 integras have a chip in the key as a security? and if so how do i get around it if i wanna use a ecu jumper.

I am not 100% sure but the immobilizer is in the ecu, so using a jumper with a different ecu will delete the immobilizer
