bogs during vtec
recently put sks3 on car with cam gears, timing is perfect, everything runs perfect until vtec kicks, its set to kick in at 5500 and it bogs out. the fuel is perfectly fine and oil is perfectly fine.

try 6-6500 for the crossover.

put the car on a dyno and tune the fuel and VTEC engagement. the car is loosing HP once VTEC enagages and then it will gain HP later in the rpm. set it to around 6K and see what happens
I've got s2s3's.....your vtec is WAY WAY too low. My Xover is set at about 6300. You have to spin the **** out of those cams, but once you get it running right it will literally shove you back in the seat when vtec hits. Be prepared for a bit of a dip in power before Xover though.
just got it tuned by church automotive. just needed to adjust the Fuel and timing alittle bit on the cam gears. vtec is set to 5500 still and works perfect. Shaun set it to 5500 and it turned out to be the best range for it.
