If you're looking for drag wheels, I would go with Weld Racing.

For maximum traction at the strip, you'll want slicks. Obviously slicks will not work on the street.

If you want to go fast at the strip, you're going to have to change wheels at the track.

I want a set of slicks, but i also need a set of 15s for street. My hankooks on my 16s, just arent enough. Right now, I cannot go WOT until 4th gear.

What size are you planning to run? There's no tyre of that kind listed that will fit an ITR.

You're going to run a 26.1" tyre on the street?

Why not buy two welds with slicks for the track, and two 16x8's with 255/50/16s? The 255s have the same overal diameter as the 235/60/15's. It would be even better if you ran heavier 16x8's, as a heavier wheel will be slightly harder to spin.

255 will definally not fit.

There's actually a couple different rotas that fit that category if you care about any look at all (slipstream, gt3, track r, jmag)

Dude, honestly you may be better off with a 225/45/15 or 225/50/15 R Compound of another variety. The 235/60/15's are entirely too damn big for an Integra. The diameter of the tire is literally the same diameter as the Integra wheel well.

-Kendall, who just measured one against his coworker's Integra

Jordo, those BFG's wont hook as good as the newer style ones. I ran them both.
The 225x50x15's in the newer style will hook for you if you arent launching in boost. They are retarded sticky and more then enuff meat for stret use.

Jordo, the thought of running slicks on the street is crazy. The amount of attention your car is going to attract between being a beast and being on full drag slicks will not be attractive to the local PD.

Just some food for thought.

This thread is funny.

Dude, you have to face reality. A 400+ whp FWD car aint gonna hook up on the street unless you flare the **** out of the front fenders and run some serious tires (265+ width). Even then you probably won't get traction in 1st and 2nd with the short gearing!

haha, so what is reality?? i should unturbo my car and drop a k20 in it?? I dont think so.

before, I had traction in 3-4th gear, i just need to dial in my boost controller and get better tires.

haha Aint that the truth There's an unfortunate realization that one comes to with these turbo setups. They're pointless in the lower gears. The highway (on chunky street tires) and the drag strip (with slicks) are fun ... but that's about it. The bottom line is that these cars aren't meant to such high horsepower. Leave that to the RWD and AWD guys!

I'm not saying that you should take the turbo off, I'm saying that you have face the fact that the car isn't going to hook up in the lower gears with such power levels! The best idea is to get a gear/speed sensitive boost controller (i.e Blitz SBC-ID, etc.) and set it so that the car is boosting lower on the lower gears.
