track schools

Default track schools

i don't know if this exists but a school that provides a bike for you, i have always wanted to ''drag a knee'' but had to sell my bike b/c i joined the army and i will have block leave in April before i go to Iraq. so is there a school that provides/rents out a bike?

+1 on Superbike School. I did my first "trackday" with them, albeit on my own bike. Besides their Kawis, they also rent suits and boots if you need those.

Don't expect to drag knee your first time, unless you've already got some experience under your belt. The instructors don't really stress that aspect of riding.

I have not even dragged mine yet LOL, I don't really try, but I have come close a few times from what my brother tells me................cuzz he is always in back of me hehe

You'll get there soon. If nothing else, then so you get used to the sound it makes (pretty loud, even with earplugs!).

Like I mentioned earlier, don't overextend yourself to drag stuff. One guy in Level 1 was dragging pegs and knees and feet in EVERY turn, and he got a stern talking to. It's a bit childish how strict they are, but it pays off in the end because you can concentrate on the technique being taught, and not whether you'll be dragging now...or now...or now... or....

Schwantz's school in Atlanta also rents bikes/gear, GSXR-600s and SV-650s.

Most schools or even trackdays in my area will rent stuff.
