brake line installation and removal ?
On the EK chassis, To install new brake lines (hoses) (rubber or stainless), not the hard lines, you need to disconnect the brake line from the caliper, and from the hardline. From the hardline you need a brake line wrench (12mm). How do you get the actual brake hose off of that tab thing where it attaches to the frame?
I searched for "brake line install" and brake line removal" and got nothin, so I think since so many people do stainless lines, this ought to be easily searchable in the title.

i think ur talking about the little clip that holds the rubber hose in place on the frame. im not sure if its the same as the EG civics or not, but i know on EG civics u just pull it outward its shaped like a "U" and clips in there.
try prying it outward with a screwdriver, i changed mine and it took me a few minutes to get if out

oh, so that part where it bends up is a clip? I guess ya gotta use some force to pry it if its like a spring clip thing?

im not sure if its the same on a 6th gen or not, but on a 5th gen its jammed in there cause there is a groove on the metal end of the brake hose where the hard line screws into it. the groove goes the whole way around the metal part and when u put the hose in place u jam the clip in there and it seats into the groove to make it not fall out and slap around and stuff.
probably the same, but i have not worked on a 6th gen very much. good luck
