Can I use wiring harness/clips from an accord for converting my EF to 0bd1?
are (I think 90-93) accords obd1? could I use the wiring clips and plugs off one of them for converting to obd1 (if they are even obd1)? thanks
yes obd1 plugs are all the same. You want to see something really weird? Check out a 92-93 Integra. They look like they would plug right into a CRX and convert it to OBD1. You might need ti repin the firewall plugs though. Repinning the plugs isn't too hard though. I repinned a 90-91 HF engine harness to fit my 89 HF. The colors were the same just had to move their postions.
Yes Accords were OBD1 and OBD2. It was a factory wide change forced by increased Federal Emissions standards. OBD0 ended on 91 models, OBD1 for 92-95 models, and OBD2 for 96+. There's and OBD2A + B but I don't know much about them except that the plugs were orange.
Before anyone flames, OBD0 is called "preOBD" or "nonOBD" by all the E-*****. I don't know why though. OBD means On Board Diagnostics. OBD0 cars will throw on board diag... engine codes.
It's just like if you say to someone did you see Leathal Wepon? Then they say which one? You have to say the first one. It's easy just to say, "Did you see Leathal Wepon 1"?
