bushing press... or manually press needed?
can you just manually push in the shifter bushings... or do i need to take it to a shop to get it pressed in? something like this:

You will not need a press for the shifter assembly.
HOWEVER - if you decide to change your suspension busings, you will need something like this:

this is regards to all shifter bushings in that set right... i believe there are only 2 of them. 1 where the shifter is, and 1 where the shifter meats the transmission bracket.

I installed an Energy Suspension Master kit without a press, I used a bench vise to push them in, and a blow torch to burn them out. the oem bushings were pretty rotted to begin with. Just grease them up, line them up with the arm in the vise grip, and tighten slowly. if it starts to go in crooked, use a flathead screwdriver to push the one side in more. I had a couple pop out while I was tightening and ahoot across the garage lol

No. ES bushing that goes to the tranny side comes in two pieces. I notice the pictured brand is Prothane but I believe they are all the same.

that's what i was thinking. if they come in 2 pieces, i can manually do it. but form that picture, it looks like a solid 1 piece.
