does anyone know where to get the the fake vision amber corners?

 

are you looking for the 100% copies, or just some amber corners... www.autodynamic.com has some for $49.95...another memeber on this board has them and they look great...personally i wouldnt spend more than $50 bucks on something like corners anyhow...so this is a great deal...

 

i dont know how someone can spend $100 on the real things anyways.. that way to damn expensive for something like that.. even $50 is a lot of cake, oem or even clear corners are cheaper than that.. i think that clear corners w/ orange bulbs looks just as good as vison corners at 1/10 of the price..

 

some people are just rich like that. dont worry aobut it if it's not your money.

 

if OEM corners were cheaper than $50 bucks, id be all over them...the JDM OEM corners that is...i just dont like the US ones because of the reflector on the side, i was thinking about just getting the clear JDM knockoffs, cause theyre like $20 bucks, and spray them amber...but i wasnt sure how the finish would hold up after exposure to the elements...

 

the real ones are just too damn cool man. i know someone who had fake ones, and they crack really easily, like i say, do it right the first time, so that you wont have to pay extra later.

I have clear OEM replica Integra sidemarkers which I painted orange last November and they still look great. If I had a Civic I would just get a pair of clear corners for like $12 and spray them w/ some of that Krylon orange stained glass window paint. Just let it dry and go over it w/ maybe some 1500 grit sandpaper and finish up w/ rubbing compound. It should look just as good as the real thing.

 

what? crack easy? what are you doing hitting them with a hammer? look even if you had to replace them 2 times you still wouldnt be up to the cost of a set of visions. if youre riding down the road and a rock flew up and hit your corner lense it would crack either way, the visions are still just some plastic corners just because they cost 3 times as much doesnt make them indestructable. no offense, the visions are nice and im not saying you shouldnt buy them im just saying theyre not stronger than any other amber lense ive seen.

 

There is actually a local shop in my town that has a set of the JDM corners for 92-95 Civic... They are the real Vision corners and a guy that works at the shop has a set on his 92-95 hatch... my friends mom gets them from japan she lives there and she ships us stuff all the time. i got some for 50 but 29.00 was for shipping
