sup I just finished building a high compression lsvtec. I tuned the partial throttle to around 14.7 air/fuel up to 4500 rpm. Now my question is? is it safe to turn on closed loop and let the computer play around with the fuel and air mixture? I have tried it already and sometimes the air fuel mixture goes up to 16 on light throttle then it swings back and forth between 14.20 to 15.5. I still have my wideband hooked up.
What do you guys think?
P.s I still dont rev more than 4000 rpms and I dont go past 30 percent throttle yet, until I can take it to a dyno and tune the rest of the maps.

i agree especially hi comp 12.8-13.1 AFR period........ do it right the 1st time so you dont have to re-do it

Yeah I didnt like those 15 numbers. I guess I will disable closed loop and let it read off the maps. Hopefully I didnt hurt anything. I guess I over quoted myself with the high compression, this motor only has about 11.9 cr but it aint no stocker.
