I am wanting to put an after market steering wheel and quick release hub on my DC2. Is there anyway I can keep my cruise control? Is there anywhere else I can put the two buttons?

you would need to isolate the wiring coming from the buttons in the steering wheel. Usually its multiplexed through one connection in the hub. if you can find the wire (with a multimeter) that responds when you press the buttons on the steering wheel you can replicate those functions using resistors and momentary switches. You would need a place to install 4 momentary switches, some resistors, a multimeter, a soldering iron, and a lot of patience.
