Yeah it was an absolute pain in the ***! If you haven't done so already, get a new cat(as restrictive as you can find), a New O2 sensor, and make sure all the wiring is clean. Also some ref stations test for other things like exhaust noise and other BS. I don't no of any in the bakersfield area, but there is/was a ref station review thread last week. GOOD LUCK
