Can I bypass or run without the throttle body heater valve?

Default Can I bypass or run without the throttle body heater valve?

The thing I am talking about is the little valve on the bottom of the throttle body, that runs water through it to heat it up. Can I remove this and just make a block off plate instead of leaving it's ugly face there? Thanks!

I have done this on several Civics, but it nevers gets really cold where I live.
