How far can I go w/ Civic DX?
I did search, and the thread is disabled. Did anyone start with Civic DX, the lowest of Civics, and turned it into something worth keeping? I plan to sell my Accord, cuz I am in financial problem. With limited budget I plan to get Civic 98 DX 'Used' ,until I can get myself out of $ problems.
Financial problems and modding cars just don't go together.
Wait til your problems are straightened out, then do something like a swap to your DX.

okay but in the world of honda's CX,DX means a whole lot of nothing... however for the sunroof junkies SI is god.... but then getting a DX has all the potential as the other models it just needs a swap, unless you are a genius
if u ask me a 96-98 dx coupe is great ...i have one and love it...it only weighs 2359 and u can swap any part u want on...swap choices are endless...plus u pay less for the car so u can have plenty of money to throw in it....heres mine... http://ourworld.cs.com/phoenixinxcs/...cleancivic.jpg

Pay More?? I don't know I bought a 95 dx coupe (like 92-95 styles better) for 6,800. It's A VERY light car and in another month i'm taking a loan out of the bank to swap a b16aII in there. Thats 9,500 for 160 hp and 113 torque, thats pretty good in one of the more lightweight civics. It depends on what you want to do with your car, ALL the bolt on stuff in the world is not going to make the DX contend. Unless you buy a JRSC and with that money you can buy a little thing called A VTEC engine swap. If your only buying a civic to make it look good then stick with the ol' DX.
BTW: the DX is not the lowest civic. Check VX & CX
