Since my car is always running at just under 1/2 way for the Heat Gauge, my heat is warm...at best...

Maybe I'm just used to the VW Death-heat, but it seems crappy that the heat doesn't get very hot...Oh well, I'll just make do I guess...

But, does everyone else have this "problem?"

 

currently, yes. but i have an integra rad in my wtr btr, so it takes a stupid amount of time to reach operating temperature and blow decent heat. my other civic has death heat.

 

Yeah going from vw heat to honda heat is a big difference..My heat doesnt get very hot either..And everything is mechanically good..

You wanna feel some crazy heat get a peugeot..

 

ya I have the same problem, it almost seems like a coolant hose is pinched or something because the temp is at 1/2 but the heat really doesnt seem to be there.


even my beater 89 tercel blew some hot air....but then again it was slower than a slug..

IT doesnt seem coolant related because I know that it is very hot after changing the eacv valve the other day..lol...not sure what else can be done

Mine gets pretty damn hot in my beater hatch. I have often times refered to it as Auschwitz. It can really make my feet get hot. I can't ever turn it up full blast once the car is warmed up. I think there might be something wrong with your car.
