Default Tag Screw

Ok I just bought this car awhile ago, and I have to change the tag. The problem is that the screw that hold one of the tag is rusted to the bone, and there's now way to unscrew it. I tried spraying it with 4wd oil spray, but it's still tight. Do you guys have any suggestions??

you can try penetrating lube (not the type for the bedroom) or automatic transmission fluid. if not, use what kendall suggested, impact.

hahahaha

Or you can drill and tap if all else fails, I would get some stainless to put in there instead. thats what I did after I had to drill mine out. looks better and its a hex key to get them out not something your average guy will have with them if there trying to steal your plates. (Common around here)

Every Autozone in America has cheap ones they sell for around 10 bucks or so. I personally have a Mac Tools impact screwdriver and love the hell out of it.

cut it with a see-saw (or whatever that tool is called) from behind the plate... I fixed mine by using those locking nuts that lock into **** the more you tighten it. So I put that in the back and then used an M5 hex head screw with a washer to hold it in. It holds it in so well it's too good. The locking nut grabs the bumper harder as you tighten it. I had those nuts/screws left from when I built my sub box.
