Default hybrid d series head stud question

im buying a set of arp studs for my newest build

what detirmins what head stud you should use? the head or the block?

expl. im useing a d16a block and d16z head.
should i use headstuds for the a6 or the z6

my guess would be use the studs to match the head but thats just my guess.

spun</TD></TR></TABLE> The headstuds for the Z6 and the A6 are the same part number, so you will want to go with the ones for the Z6. Normally though you go by the block you are using -
D16A6 --&gt; D16Z6 Studs
D16Z6 --&gt; D16Z6 Studs
D16Y8 --&gt; D16Y8 Studs
D16Z6 w Y8 Head --&gt; Gets interesting
D16A6 w Y8 Head --&gt; Still Interesting
D16Y8 w Z6 Head --&gt; Have you noticed the Y series makes everything damn difficult?

I did a D15b2 / y8 swap and I used the y8 studs, but had to order 2 shorter studs from ARP.
